To promote the work of future change makers and connect them to the RLC network, RLC director Anwar Fazal has published a booklet, together with Lakshmi Menon, entitled “Multiversities”. There are scores of initiatives, local and global, that are emerging as living libraries, inspirational nodes, networks, brave advocates and new learning institutions that need to be better known. They encompass public interest hubs, catalysts, innovators, multipliers and accelerators- five platforms. All these have been found to be very critical for social movements to become impactful through information that both inspires others as well as ignites action.
For this purpose, Anwar Fazal and Lakshmi Menon selected a range of initiatives for a “Sourcebook for Changemakers”. The range of initiatives selected is as diverse as the world and public interest issues are. It has to be a work in progress, as initiatives come and go, rise and fall, and yet contribute to serve as lighthouses for change makers for a better world. Some of these initiatives will be presented here for you to get in touch.
