On November 26, 2020, Swati Banerjee, RLC Campus Mumbai Coordinator and Professor at the Centre for Livelihoods and Social Innovation, School of Social Work, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) gave an online lecture on “People-Centered Social Innovation – an Emerging Paradigm” at the Cusanus Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung.
In her lecture, she introduces the concept and approaches of “People-Centered Social Innovation” and argues that people-centered social innovation can offer a pathway to guide the future of development strategies as it provides an opportunity for empowerment in practice, namely the creation of new democratic spaces at the grassroots level.
