On January 13, 2021, RLC Bonn Junior Researcher Amit Kumar presented his research on “Understanding the Waste to Energy project in Mumbai: An ANT account of success and failure” in an online colloquium.

Amit has worked in Mumbai together with Right Livelihood Award Laureate Medha Patkar and her organization “Ghar Banao Ghar Bachao Aandolan” and RLC Campus Mumbai since 2016. His research aims at an alternative imagination to the existing urban structures in relation to globalization. This lecture is part of his doctoral studies on “Marginality at the interface of contemporary development processes in urban India”.
