RLC Bonn: Workshop on Agriculture


The RLC Campus Bonn offers scholarships funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for PhD students from Africa and Asia to participate in the international workshop on “Greening the Future: Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry in African and Asian Drylands”, September 14-19, 2019.

PhD students will be able to discuss their research with Australian agronomist and natural resources expert Tony Rinaudo who received the Right Livelihood Award in 2018 as well as with Mercy Wanja Karunditu, Senior Programme Officer at the Green Belt Movement in Kenya. The Green Belt Movement was established by Wangari Maathai, who received the Award in 1984.
